We are looking for: A Warehouse Associate to facilitate day-to-day inventory-to-delivery operations out of our Orange County shop. The ideal candidate will implement sound inventory management practices to ensure smooth movement and tracking of all equipment needed for installation, resulting in a seamless flow of goods and services.
Our ideal candidate is a logic-minded, detail-driven problem solver who thrives on digging into data and other resources to uncover, resolve, and prevent discrepancies or losses in inventory. They may enjoy investigating and puzzle-solving through research and gathering data; eager to learn and understand the processes and reasoning behind their duties, as well as how their work contributes to the bigger picture.They must have a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure. Experience in inventory systems is preferred, but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities Warehouse:
Receiving & Recording: Checking and inspecting deliveries, verifying contents against packing slips, recording deliveries into inventory software
Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting biweekly stock counts, and reconciling any discrepancies with the Purchasing Manager and other affected parties.
Job Staging & Preparation: Physically stage equipment for ongoing jobs, verifying items against sales orders to to ensure accurate fulfillment.
Job Shipments & Allocation: Timely and precise entries into inventory software system recording shipments/allocation into inventory software for of equipment tond notify relevant personnel of any items needing attention.
Stock Organization: Sorting, categorizing, and organizing products in designated storage areas, ensuring systems are followed, using proper labeling and identification methods.
Equipment Tracking: Monitoring end-to-end flow of goods from receipt, to final delivery to customer. Track movements between the warehouse and job sites. Hold technicians accountable for following standard checkout and allocation protocols.
RMA Processing: ManageRMA's as needed by following vendor protocols and ensuring timely handling of product.
Returns: Follow and enforce all physical and software procedures for recording and processing returns.
Truck Stock inventory: Perform bi-weekly audits to verify the accuracy of the inventory on the truck. This involves physically counting and reconciling the actual stock levels with the recorded quantities.
Cross-location Communication: Keep a high level of communication with Purchasing Manager, Billing, Installation, and Sales teams about all California inventory matters.
Administrative/On Site:
Deliveries and Parts Runner: Provide job site deliveries or act as a parts runner on an as-needed or occasional basis.
Housekeeping: Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the office space and warehouse; including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
Handle phone calls, take messages, and route escalated calls to the appropriate team members (Operations Manager, Service Coordinator, Sales Team); log follow-up details in Monday.com.
Receive and distribute incoming mail and notices to team members.
Experience
Self-starter with an investigative spirit - driven to problem solve inventory issues through tracing equipment movement, utilizing software and any other available tools to resolve discrepancies
Interest in working in logistics and/or warehouse services, supply chain management.
Proficiency in logistics or inventory software, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems
Can reliably complete repetitive daily tasks in a timely manner
Effective time management, logical decision-making ability.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
Team player and good communicator
Preferred experience or knowledge of Residential Home Technology products, systems, and industry
Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.
High School Diploma or GED Required
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift objects over 50lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, or stand for extended periods of time
