    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our biological and pharmaceutical logistics operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping sensitive materials while following strict regulatory guidelines and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Receiving & Inspection:

    • Receive incoming shipments of biological and pharmaceutical materials.
    • Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Accurately document receiving records and input data into warehouse management systems (WMS).

    Storage & Inventory Control:

    • Properly store materials in designated temperature-controlled environments (ambient, refrigerated, frozen, or ultra-low temperature as required).
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts as needed.
    • Adhere to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expiry, First-Out) inventory management principles.

    Picking & Order Fulfillment:

    • Accurately pick and prepare orders according to customer and regulatory specifications.
    • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for pharmaceutical and biological shipments.
    • Work in accordance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).

    Shipping & Distribution:

    • Prepare shipments for outbound transport, ensuring compliance with temperature control and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners for on-time and secure deliveries.
    • Complete and verify all shipping documentation, including temperature logs and chain of custody forms.

    Equipment & Facility Maintenance:

    • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and temperature monitoring systems.
    • Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.

    Compliance & Safety:

    • Follow all SOPs, GDP, GMP, and safety guidelines to ensure product integrity and compliance with FDA, CDC, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
    • Adhere to biohazard and hazardous material handling protocols.
    • Participate in training sessions and emergency response drills.

    Other Duties as Assigned:

    • Assist with special projects, audits, and process improvements as needed.
    • Support cross-functional teams in achieving operational goals.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or warehouse certifications are a plus.
    • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare logistics preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (cold storage, freezers, etc.).
    • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
    • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
