Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, energetic and self-motivated Warehouse Associate/Furniture Mover to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by lifting and moving large furniture and heavy items, receiving consignments, and storing/organizing inventory. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience in day-to-day warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Maintaining orderly flow through the loading dock, warehouse, photography zones, and showroom

Lifting and moving furniture and fixtures weighing 75+ lbs using the appropriate tools

Process incoming consignments in a neat and organized fashion

Accurately organize merchandise for pickup or shipping, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Pick up or deliver merchandise off premise

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Excellent time management skills, able to efficiently prioritize tasks

Ability to use warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, piano board, dollies

Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects, such as furniture, garden items, and boxes

Ability to work with limited supervision

Ability to adapt to a variety of working environments including extremes in temperature

Must have reliable transportation

Previous Auction House experience is strongly preferred but not required
