Position Overview: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and supporting operational needs through effective procurement and inventory control practices. This role is key to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and upholding cost-effective practices. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving and can expect to work 40-50 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:
Track and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of materials.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Update and maintain the inventory management system accurately.
Procurement and Supplier Coordination:
Communicate and coordinate with the internal procurement department regarding orders and deliveries.
Warehouse Operations:
Pull, stage, and process warehouse orders.
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks.
Inspect products for accuracy, damages, or shortages.
Complete tickets, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
Logistics Coordination:
Ensure timely and efficient movement of materials in and out of the warehouse.
Supervise shipping schedules and deliveries to meet operational requirements.
Collaborate with teams to maintain effective workflows and resolve logistical issues.
Leadership and Team Coordination:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with HVAC materials and equipment is a plus.
Forklift Certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 50-60 lbs. as required.
Capability to work on your feet for extended periods.
