Responsibilities: • Inventory Management: Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, physical counts, transfers, and planning for future capacity needs. • Operational Leadership: Assist in and coordinate all distribution activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns, to meet quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals. • Team Development: Provide motivational leadership to team members, fostering a positive environment and driving performance to achieve departmental metrics. • Culture: Lead, motivate, and develop a high performing team of employees with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Foster a positive and inclusive culture that drives performance and maintains morale. • Communication: Set clear goals and priorities for the team, effectively communicating objectives and promoting positive morale across the department. • Performance Reporting: Conduct regular team meetings and provide insights through daily and weekly performance reports. • Administrative Duties: Perform general management and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications: • Warehouse Management Experience: Must have 3–5 years of proven experience supervising or managing warehouse teams of 30 or more employees. • Inventory Control: Must have 3–5 years of experience managing inventory, receiving, cycle/physical counts, forecasting, planning and slotting products. • WMS Expertise: Must have 3–5 years of experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). • Excel Proficiency: Must have 1–2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel or similar software for reporting and analysis. • Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities to inspire and guide a team. • Integrity: Highly ethical and committed to maintaining a positive workplace culture. • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
