We are a Furniture company looking for a sharp individual to join our warehouse team! The warehouse lead's responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders along with supervising the shift crew. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Brief Summary of Duties:

Assigns, directs, monitors, and ensures proper completion of tasks for warehouse associates.

Reports directly to Warehouse Management

Research and investigate any inventory issues that arise during shift.

Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are complete and free of damages.

Trains, develops, corrects, and disciplines employee performance in accordance with company policies and in coordination with the Warehouse Management.

Oversee daily shift operations to include, shipping, receiving, loading outbound, and unloading inbound.

Coordinates and communicates with inbound container carriers.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards for a safe work environment.

Inform Warehouse Management of all operating issues and problems and make recommendations for corrective action to ensure quality warehouse operations and customer service.

Operates a stand up forklift

Supervises between 4 to 6 non-supervisory employees.

Schedule:

Sunday - Wednesday 7:00 am - 5:30pm

Four 10 hour Shifts

40 hours a week, overtime if needed.

Skills & Requirements

· 2 or more years of proven Warehouse lead experience.

· Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.

· Knowledge of Warehouse safety regulatory standards.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to lift heavy objects.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
