    Position Description

    The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for order picking/packing, inventory control, parts procurement, invoicing, record-keeping, and fulfilling orders. Proficiency in using RF scanners, cargo handling, and forklift certification are highly desirable. The role will involve both administrative tasks and physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet for 8 hours a day in a weather-sensitive environment. This position will be based in our Elmhurst, IL warehouse and office and is expected to be on site 5 days per week. Typical working hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, with flexibility to manage after hours deliveries and responsibilities as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform order picking/packing and use RF scanners to track inventory accurately.

    • Fulfill orders promptly and accurately, coordinating with freight and parcel carriers such as UPS or FedEx.

    • Assist with shipping and receiving activities and including cargo handling (experience with international shipping is a huge plus).

    • Conduct inventory control tasks such as stocking, counting, and utilizing systems to track orders.

    • Assist with procurement of parts and materials as needed, including sourcing suppliers and maintaining records of purchases.

    • Assist with invoicing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing orders.

    • Maintain detailed records and files, adhering to basic filing procedures for easy retrieval of information.

    • Perform administrative duties as required, including data entry, report generation, and MS Office applications.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • 2-3 years of experience in warehousing, with a focus on shipping/receiving.

    • 1-2 years forklift experience required (valid certification preferred).

    • 1-2 years of experience working with 3PL and direct carrier accounts.

    • Proficient in using WMS software and basic inventory control practices.

    • Experience using CargoWise preferred.

    • Experience with international import and export shipments.

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

    • Valid driver's license required.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet for extended periods.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
