Warehouse Logistics Associate

Under the supervision of the Warehouse/Logistics Specialist and Operations Management team, this role will assist with facilitating receiving, organizing, and shipping of our clients products/inventory in a warehouse setting. The Warehouse/Logistic Assistant will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The Warehouse/Logistics Assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. In this role you will be required to be on your feet the majority of each day in order to move inventory around the 8,000sq. feet warehouse.
Immediate Opening for a Warehouse Logistics Associate in Irvine, CA who possesses:
• Minimum 6 months experience in Warehouse/Logistics
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks
• Be flexible with work schedule from 6:00am – 5:00pm M-F
• Be flexible to work the occasional Saturday
• Proficient with the English language (written and verbal)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs.
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Inventory control software (i.e. ERP) experience preferred
• Some previous QC or technical experience preferred
• Knowledge of inventory movement and distribution preferred
Key Responsibilities include:
• Receive, inspect and store products and materials, which may include electrical and mechanical inspection to ensure product meets specifications
• Prepare customer orders, pull/pack products, and prepare for delivery
• General shipping and receiving (FedEx, UPS and Freight)
• Participate in full physical inventories and periodic cycle counts for product in-house as well as in the field
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts and shipments, and the movement of products and inventory between sales personnel and distributor network
• Determine best method of storage, identification and stocking location taking into account temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, expiration dates, turnover and available space
• Evaluate and inspect customer-returned products and/or materials to disposition per established procedure
• Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Prepare, track, and control field inventory for all laboratories and training
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and working area
• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals
• Support management by performing projects and other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
• Will support other departments as needed
