Job Summary The WSS Warehouse Runner is responsible for picking up, transporting materials and equipment within the warehouse and supporting various operational needs to ensure seamless workflow in our telecommunications environment.
Responsibilities
Pick up equipment in different locations and bring them to our Warehouse, move tools, equipment, and products between different areas of the warehouse and to various departments as needed.
Help maintain accurate inventory levels by transporting items for restocking and assisting in inventory audits.
Support the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring all equipment and materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Keep the warehouse organized by ensuring that all items are stored in designated areas and workspaces are clean and clutter-free.
Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment and report any hazards or issues immediately.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous but not mandatory.
OSHA Forklift Training certificate preferred.
Skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to interact with clients, team members and supervisors.
Basic computer skills for tracking inventory.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 70 lbs) and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Bilingual Spanish – English is a must.
