    Warehouse Supervisor

    General Responsibilities: Directly supervises and coordinates the activities of helpers, laborers, or material movers. Oversees the planning a company's transportation, including the most economical and quickest routes for shipping merchandise to and from the plant, contracting for common carrier and other transportation facilities, negotiating with carriers for adjustments for damages to merchandise, and making the necessary rearrangements resulting from delays, damages, or irregularities in transit.

    Specific Job Duties: • Supervise and manage the warehouse activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping & maintaining stock records in warehouse. • Insure that all staff is working safely and efficiently, the Aries facility and staff are secure and that the required processes are being completed as instructed • All Aries property, assets, inventory, and equipment are properly accounted for and secure • Acknowledge and complete the tasks, action and responsibilities as assigned by Aries Management and the Warehouse Managers Locate freight • Run Day to Day operations and assist in growth of FTZ • Performs management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations. • Supervise labeling or packing of materials or products • Create and suggest improvements to existing and new procedures to assist with creating a safe, productive, good working environment Load truck with proper freight • Help train staff to work safely, more efficient and productive • Always be professional with customers, Aries staff and management • Be a part of and help continue to improve a working team environment at Aries • Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment • Inform designated employees or departments of items loaded or problems encountered • Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems • Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.

    Requirements: • Minimum four years’ experience • Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs. • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. • Strong communication skills • Balance individual responsibilities • Excellent customer service skills • High School Diploma or GED
