Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, track product movement, and ensure timely restocking based on seasonal updates.
Warehouse & Supplier Coordination: Communicate with our warehouse to determine stock requirements, quantities, and delivery schedules.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all incoming merchandise meets company standards and promptly address any discrepancies.
Shipment Accuracy: Oversee receiving, identifying, and documenting inventory transactions to ensure efficiency.
Performance Measurement: Track and report warehouse activities, employee performance, and stock effectiveness.
Storage Organization: Keep inventory and warehouse areas well-organized to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
Team Management: Communicate job expectations, assign workloads, coach warehouse employees, and determine staffing needs.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, introduce innovations, and enhance warehouse operational procedures.
Department Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to align inventory needs with business objectives.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Manager, or similar role in retail (preferably clothing or fashion).
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse software, and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency is a plus).
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to warehouse operational challenges.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams, including international suppliers.
Ability to analyze stock data and make informed decisions to optimize inventory levels.
Experience in team supervision and warehouse operations management.
