Pay Rate: $14.00/HR - Overtime possible based on workload. Equipment Repair/Maintenance and Cleaning Offices, Bathrooms, etc. are this position's primary duties. If you are unable to meet these specifications please consider another position with our company.
Primary Role: Support production personnel and management. Manage and control all SERVPRO® warehouse-related activities. Follow and enforce all facility and/or job site safety procedures. Resolve problems quickly as they arise. Perform all assigned duties to ensure customer needs are met. Respond to service calls when needed.
Results Expected: Vehicles, equipment, facilities, and grounds remain clean and orderly. Equipment is maintained or repaired as needed or required. Supply levels are inventoried, controlled, and maintained. All documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Communications to Production Manager, Crew Chiefs, and Owner, are timely.
Production: Warehouse Work
Plan and organize materials and items in the warehouse.
Order, receive, and handle materials in the warehouse.
Handle and execute shipping operations.
Create, plan, and implement accurate inventory controls.
Maintain inventory levels on required products and supplies.
Maintain, clean, and/or repair assets for use in the warehouse and field.
Create and maintain maintenance records and/or checklists for all vehicles, equipment, and warehouse items as required by manufacturer’s guidelines and/or any applicable federal, state, or local regulations.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle maintenance checklists and equipment maintenance checklists as assigned.
Ensure all items leaving the warehouse are clean, disinfected, and serviceable.
Ensure vehicles and equipment are in excellent operating condition and maintain a professional appearance.
Report any nonoperational equipment/items to the production manager.
Repair or have repaired, any damaged equipment/items noted during inspections or reported to you.
Any equipment/items noted as creating a safety hazard shall be tagged and removed from service and reported immediately to the production manager.
Maintain, clean, and organize the warehouse, grounds, restrooms, hallways, and offices as assigned.
Oversee facility maintenance.
Manage job file documentation.
Maintain accurate records of customer item location and update all pertinent parties, records, or charts to any change in that location immediately.
Complete all documentation for job files.
Coach and train production technicians.
Train production technicians on equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Assist production technicians in seeking all relevant equipment and supplies.
Model professional behavior and customer relations skills.
Human Resources: Communication Management
Ensure clear two-way communication with the production manager.
Keep the production manager informed of equipment, product, or supply issues.
Ensure clear two-way communication with the office team.
Keep the office team informed of equipment, product, or supply issues.
Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chiefs and production technicians.
Keep crew chiefs and production technicians informed of equipment, product, or supply issues.
Responsible to communicate in a timely, honest, and clear manner.
Using proper communication is vital to team results.
Executive: Professional and Personal Development
Continue development of production skills and expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment knowledge.
Participate in training activities.
Complete certification through the SERVPRO® University and relevant Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) certifications.
Complete all relevant training programs and achieve all relevant production certifications.
Know product application sheets to ensure proper usage.
Know Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure safe usage.
Know how to properly operate equipment by reading owner’s manuals, and specification sheets and training with other team members.
Continue development of management, team building, and leadership skills.
Finance: Financial and Equipment/Asset Management
Control costs of products and supplies.
All company expenses must be documented and within budget, as set forth by Franchise Management. All expenses outside of the budget must have prior approval from the operations manager, general manager, and/or owner.
Manage equipment, product, and supplies.
Protect and utilize equipment, products, and supplies ensuring Franchise property is utilized efficiently and effectively.
Ensure that production technicians are cleaning and maintaining vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
Complete monthly inventory of equipment and supplies.
Report any real or perceived abnormalities in product or supply levels or usages.
Executive: Safety and Risk Compliance/Management
Understand and utilize all safety and risk management guidelines in the warehouse, in the office, on the grounds, on a job site, and while traveling.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Comply with all Franchise, SERVPRO®, and OSHA safety policies.
Utilize cleaning products, supplies, equipment, and personal protective equipment properly.
Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
Attend safety training.
