    Florida’s Decorators Warehousing & Delivery was founded in 1997 to receive, inspect, store, and deliver furniture on behalf of nationally renowned interior designers. Additionally, we provide full-service warehousing for contractors, manufacturers, schools, hotels, restaurants and more. We have grown exponentially over our founding 27 years ago and are looking for ambitious and professional self-starters interested in Florida’s booming warehouse and logistics market. Given the nature of our business, our customers (and our staff) expect only the BEST in customer service! We seek candidates with a commitment to customer service and an appreciation for the challenges and variety found in the position.

    Starting pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour with a guaranteed end-of-year bonus. Typical start and end times are 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We offer health and dental insurance paid at 75 percent after 90 days of continuous employment together with a one-week paid vacation after one year of continuous employment and a two-week paid vacation after 5 years of continuous employment.

    After 90 days your pay may be increased based on your work performance, customer feedback, co-worker's feedback, reliability, adherence to company policy, and most importantly, your attitude.

    The job requires that an employee to be flexible as to the daily tasks at hand.

    The first task involves the unloading of freight trucks carrying furniture and other associated goods at our warehouse facility in Bonita Springs. After unloading, the packing boxes or crates are opened and the goods thoroughly inspected for damage. The goods are then repackaged and placed into designated areas of the warehouse. You will be required to protect furniture with shrink wrap, moving pads, tape, and the like, to ensure the pieces are stored in good condition. The task also involves loading trucks so our mover crews can deliver the furniture and other goods. At times, you will also be required to assist in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

    The second task will at times require that you assist our mover crews in delivering, installing and often assembling furniture and the like, to a customer’s residence or business. Prior moving, van line, furniture delivery or large package delivery is a plus.

    All applicants are required to:

    Possess the stamina to lift heavy items (sometimes 100 lbs. or more) while walking and/or climbing stairs, etc.

    Provide their own transportation to and from our warehouse;

    Provide their previous work experience with contact names/numbers;

    Submit to a background check; Possess a clean driving record for the past three years;

    Have a pleasant and respectful attitude, demeanor and the ability to be a team player; and

    Be committed to providing excellent customer service;

    We are excited to have this opening available and are looking forward to finding the right person to join our team. If you are looking for long-term employment with an owner who cares, then we are the right fit for you.
