    Job Summary

    The Warehouse and Office Manager is a service-minded individual with a passion for helping people in crisis by restoring their personal belongings (contents) to their original condition after a flood, fire, or other disruptive event. You will be trained on a software platform called iCat to inventory the items and prepare them for storage in our warehouse. Ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and enjoy cleaning and organizing.

    This is an on-site position. Shifts are a minimum of 8 hours. We can accommodate most schedules. Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is family owned and operated.

    Responsibilities

    Ensure that inventory software is properly utilized for tracking the transfer and storage of all contents

    At the warehouse: Oversee contents cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restoration. Ensure proper tracking and storing of contents in vaults

    Work with the estimator to develop accurate and timely estimates

    Track usage of packing and cleaning supplies and ensure a proper inventory is maintained

    Maintain inventory integrity by properly scanning boxes and furniture from job site to truck, truck to vault, vault to truck, and truck to the job site.

    Ensure that all work is completed in accordance the schedule and with company standards

    Materials Ordering and inventory

    Customer Communication.

    Qualifications

    A desire to serve your community and be a team player

    2 plus years’ experience in contents industry, cleaning industry or moving industry

    Direct experience with Fire restoration a huge plus

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Strong organizational and time management skills

    Familiarity with iCat inventory software a plus
