    Overview As a Warehouse Production associate at PastryStar, you will play a crucial role in the production and distribution of our high-quality baked goods. You will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring product quality, packaging, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our food manufacturing process.

    Responsibilities

    Production Support: Assist in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of finished goods to ensure they meet PastryStar’s quality standards.

    Inventory Management: Help with the organization and storage of raw ingredients and finished products in designated warehouse areas. Assist in inventory control, tracking stock levels, and reporting shortages.

    Material Handling: Safely handle and transport raw materials, supplies, and finished products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually when necessary.

    Quality Control: Inspect goods during production to ensure compliance with company standards, including checking for proper packaging, labeling, and expiration dates.

    Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery such as conveyors, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move goods. Maintain equipment according to company protocols.

    Sanitation: Ensure that the warehouse is clean and meets health and safety regulations. This includes proper waste disposal, regular cleaning of work areas, and sanitizing surfaces to meet food safety standards.

    Collaboration: Work closely with production, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure a smooth workflow, meeting deadlines and production schedules.

    Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

    Documentation: Record product movements and monitor inventory for accuracy, completing necessary paperwork as needed.

    Experience: Previous warehouse, production, or food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

    Skills:

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

    Attention to detail and ability to inspect products for quality.

    Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

    Basic math skills for inventory tracking.

    Food Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety standards (or willingness to learn).

    Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.

    Working Conditions: Work is performed in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures depending on the season. Occasional overtime may be required during peak production periods.

    Qualifications

    Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment

    Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools

    Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics

    Certification in forklift operation is a plus

    Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting

    Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency
