    Job Description

    Responsible for implement standardized authoring processes, production schedules, production workflow, style guide rules and guidelines. The WA is responsible for providing service and support to program teams and other project managers in ways that promote the company’s tactical and strategic objectives. Overall goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our customers and organization. Troubleshoot system issues presented by call center or regional personnel. Gather and present requirements to IT for system changes. Work closely with IT for testing and ensure changes are deployed without disruption to customers and business users.

    The Warranty Analyst will serve a critical role to bridge the gap between business users and systems development teams. The WA will work closely with manage the backlog and escalate issues as necessary. They must have an excellent understanding of the business needs that they represent, the technology on which they’re building and ensure a great end-user experience.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Leading and documenting recurring project status meetings
    • Ensure that all work is completed on-time and to a high level of standards.
    • Responsible for production workflow systems and milestone delivery and tracking.
    • Conduct, schedule and administer all production scheduling meetings and reports.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with their team, as well as other internal stakeholders to create schedules, gather and identify source data requirements and product development.
    • Perform various research to support current and future program capabilities; prepare summary reports for management review.
    • Work as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
    • Participate in meetings with customers, team members, contractors, and others to exchange information, make decisions, provide status and/or updates.
    • Track and maintain project timeline of enhancements and system error fixes to completion.
    • Attend IT meetings and document detailed meeting summaries and action items.
    • Collaborate with IT to research and resolve system issues.
    • Submit Service request for system enhancements and system errors. Communicate detailed requirements to IT.
    • Learn existing systems and functionalities in order to modify existing claim edits and create new system enhancements to support warranty policies.
    • Work closely with all business groups (campaign, billing, Expense Management) and IT to implement system changes.
    • Create test scripts and perform User Acceptance Testing on system enhancements.
    • Collaborate with warranty operations to draft and publish field and dealer and region facing system change announcements.
    • Other assignments as directed by the department, including call center support with calls and emails.
    • Assist with developing and implementing strategy for the program and the team.
    • Production scheduling development, communication, and timing changes.
    • Develop and maintain individual project plans, overall program views as requested.
    • Understand how different projects interlink and overlap.
    • Create various reports and documentation to support effective program communications.
    • Assist program and team to define, document and implement processes and work instructions.
    • Collaborate with program and team to ensure relevant processes and standards are upheld.
    • Identify opportunities for continual improvement, conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Conduct forward looking risk analysis and facilitate risk mitigation planning among departmental stakeholders.
    • Support new business opportunities in response to RFI and RFQ submissions.
    • Collaborate and communicate with other internal team members to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Take part in nighttime deployment meetings with IT and ensure new enhancement or system change requirements are met.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Familiarity with software used for project management
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Proven experience with project management.
    • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards within the automotive publications space.

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23 to $26 hourly.
