We are looking for an experienced Warranty Coordinator /Property Manager in residential construction to coordinate with clients, do warranty walk-throughs and oversee a wide range of projects from start to finish. You will oversee construction actions and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Schedule issues as they arise. A Warranty Coordinator must be well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate to achieve the best results. As well as managing trades and meetings with customers throughout the entire building process (walk property inside and out with clients, keep clients informed of the building process/systems, new home orientation, answering client questions, educating clients on their new home, what is/is not a warrantable issue, track repairs, follow up with customers, etc.). All to ensure a better buying experience. Additionally, this would include property management of rental properties and screening candidates under the property management platform. The ideal candidate must be able to interact effectively with clients and have great organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage trades and meetings with clients (point of contact with clients on all warranty information).
Manage the entire warranty process for clients.
Track all open warranty claims and schedule trades as needed. Recording and processing claim information.
Maintains Client records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
Ensure warranty repairs are conducted to customer satisfaction.
Check, verify, process, document, and file warranty forms.
Excellent communication and follow-up are required in this position.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will have residential construction/project manager experience.
Builder-trend knowledge is a plus but willing to train.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Previous warranty & customer service experience is a huge plus.
Strong communications skills with the highest professionalism and integrity required.
