The Warranty Service Advisor Admin at Hagadone Marine is responsible for assisting with the warranty claims process, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing administrative support to the warranty service advisor. This role serves as a liaison between customers, technicians, manufacturers, and service advisors to ensure timely and efficient warranty processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing and submitting warranty claims to manufacturers and vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Track and follow up on warranty claims to ensure approval and payment.
- Maintain organized records of warranty documentation, approvals, and payments.
- Communicate with manufacturers and vendors regarding warranty coverage, claim status, and required documentation.
- Assist service advisors and technicians in identifying warranty-eligible repairs.
- Review repair orders for accuracy and compliance with manufacturer warranty guidelines.
- Provide administrative support to the service department, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Assist in scheduling warranty-related repairs and coordinating with customers as needed.
- Generate reports on warranty claims, reimbursements, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer warranty requirements.
- Sending parts back to the manufacturer.
- Keeping the warranty parts shelves cleaned and organized.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in warranty administration, service advising, or a related administrative role preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a service or administrative role preferred but not required.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Full-time position; Tuesday through Saturday.
- Office-based role with occasional interaction in the service department.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform data entry tasks.
