Currently we are seeking a Washbay Attendant to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will clean garbage truck assemblies so that they are ready to be primed and painted to provide corrosion protection
Your Role in Our Mission:
In an efficient manner, use pressure washer to produce a clean quality finish by following chemical guidelines.
Assist in the preparation process (tacking, masking and hanging parts).
Works with supervisor to set and maintain weekly wash schedule.
Complete tests and LOA data to ensure process meets required standards and make adjustments as needed.
Operate forklift to move around garbage truck assemblies.
Work with the safety department to ensure safe working conditions relative to the washing process.
Manage waste materials in compliance with OSHA, EPA and DNR.
Inspect own work and make corrections if needed. Once finished, complete inspection forms.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
Good communication.
Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
Bi-weekly titration testing.
Other duties as assigned.
