Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience in the operation of waste water treatment plant solids de-watering equipment, preferred
- Must have knowledge of hazardous chemical handling, to include experience in and knowledge of the use of chemicals in the treatment of industrial waste water.
- Must be able to use hand and power tools (such as grinder, drill, etc.)
- Must have good written and oral English communications skills
- Must have a demonstrated work history of dependability, particularly with regard to safety and attendance
- Must be able to work rotating shifts & weekends
- Must be able to pass written tests
- Must have clean DMV record and valid California driver’s license; must maintain a clean driving record
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be trained in lock-out tag-out and safe work practices
- Must be able to bend, stoop walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
- Must be able to work from high altitudes, catwalks and roofs
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Must be able to work on wet concrete floors
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and times dictated by production equipment requirements/needs
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
