THIS IS A WORKING POSITION, and you will be expected to teach and guide others while also performing construction labor tasks and leading by example. We specialize in the creation of award-winning ponds and waterfalls, and we are hiring an experienced professional to lead and manage our water feature construction team. You'll be part of the planning process for our projects, supervise all laborers and subcontractors, and ensure each project is completed to the highest degree of quality. Responsibilities: • Measure progress through reviewing performance goals and deadlines to make sure the project runs on schedule with the project manager’s deadlines and subcontractor work • Adapt to the needs of the team and assist the project manager with other tasks when needed • Supervise all construction workers and subcontractors, inspect their work, and provide direction when needed to ensure the job is high quality • Include client feedback as construction progresses and help construction crew and subcontractors execute change orders • Maintain a daily logbook to document all occurrences throughout the construction process for the project manager and homeowners • Keep records of all paperwork and services performed • Establish, develop and maintain positive client relationships • Estimate and acquire new accounts • Coordinate construction roles and responsibilities with team members • Post to social media for brand awareness and prospecting Qualifications: • Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills • Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles • Highly motivated and driven individual with a background in water features design and construction • Must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions • Dexterity and physical ability to lift heavy objects and use tools or other construction equipment are required • Ability to solve problems • Ability to work in the field and office as required • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license Compensation: $75,000
