Position Overview
Come Be a Hero! ServiceMaster Fire & Water Restoration provides emergency services for damage caused by floods, fire and mold.
We are looking to add to our team of career minded technicians. If you have a positive attitude, thrive in an environment where every day is different and enjoy working as a team, this might be the position for you. While experience is helpful, we will provide all training.
Compensation is hourly and there are bonuses for responding after hours and for jobs that go above and beyond. We do not limit overtime so if you are available, your income is what you want to make it.
We provide all training! Besides emergency services we also are the premier provider of carpet cleaning, floor stripping and waxing and tile and grout cleaning. Learn new skills to augment your income.

Job Responsibilities
Turn a damaged house back into a home or get a business back in business
Follow directions of Field Managers to provide best possible customer service
Work with team members to complete scope of work
Performs water damage repair to include water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials as well as demolition as directed by supervisor
Ensures equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Reports any equipment malfunction and or damage to supervisor
Training provided for carpet cleaning and floor care
Once trained, technician will performs daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with urgency
Job Requirements
Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
Good verbal and written and communication skills
Good customer service skills
Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform (we will provide)
Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
Experience in the restoration or construction industry not required but preferred

Incumbent must be prepared to:
Move up to 50 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required.
Express or exchange ideas with others quickly, receive and act on detailed information given.
For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face
Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
