Position Summary:
American Restoration Network is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Restoration Project Manager to oversee and manage water damage restoration projects from initial client contact through successful completion. This role requires a strong understanding of water damage restoration principles, proven project management skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and a demonstrated ability to identify and secure new restoration opportunities. The ideal candidate will hold current IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and preferably Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and possess a proactive approach to sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Manage all aspects of water damage restoration projects, including initial assessment, scope development, work plan creation, resource allocation, scheduling, and quality control.
Conduct thorough site inspections to assess the extent of water damage and develop accurate and comprehensive project estimates using industry-standard pricing software (e.g., Xactimate).
Effectively communicate project details, timelines, and expectations to clients, insurance adjusters, and internal team members.
Coordinate and supervise restoration technicians and subcontractors to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
Monitor project progress, address challenges proactively, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including work orders, photos, moisture readings, and communication logs.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct final project walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction and obtain necessary sign-offs.
Sales and Business Development:
Actively identify and pursue new water damage restoration opportunities through networking, relationship building with plumbers, property managers, insurance agents, and other referral sources.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Present American Restoration Network's services and value proposition effectively to prospective clients.
Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare and present compelling proposals and estimates to secure new projects.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions.
Participate in marketing and business development initiatives as needed.
Client Communication and Customer Service:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the restoration process.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
Build trust and rapport with clients to foster positive relationships and generate referrals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) managing water damage restoration projects.
Current IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification is required.
IICRC Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new restoration business.
Strong understanding of water damage restoration techniques, equipment, and best practices.
Proficiency in using industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Xactimate).
Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Valid driver's license and1 reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Knowledge of insurance claim processes is a plus.
