We are actively seeking a Water Well Technician at Continental Drilling & Service, a Synergen Company, located in Shreveport, Louisiana that would be responsible for representing the company with the customer, operating service equipment, troubleshooting, and repairing water well issues.
Essential Functions include, but not limited to:
Operate pump hoist and service equipment
Troubleshoot water well issues and diagnose
Gather required material to make repairs
Represent the company and its core values
Perform minor electrical and plumbing practices
Follow all company standard operating procedures
Maintain inventory of critical spares on equipment and report any malfunctions
Ensure equipment is kept clean and orderly at all times
A qualified applicant must posses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Active and Clear Driver’s License
Great organizational skills
Mechanical troubleshooting skills
Pump Hoist/Water Well experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
The noise level is usually moderate to high
Occasionally working outdoors in elements/weather
Overnight travel will be minimal under normal operational conditions
