That said, Wavecrest is currently seeking a PROPERTY BOOKKEEPER in our main office located in Richmond Hill, NY.

THE ROLE:
The successful Property Bookkeeper at Wavecrest Management will first and foremost be extremely reliable, pro-active and have superior customer service skills.
The position requires a responsible individual who will commit to being present, punctual and reliable with a minimum of 2 years prior experience Bookkeeping.
The Job responsibilities are listed below but not limited to other projects as required by direct supervisor
· Balance and maintain accurate ledgers and cash flow balances
· Ensure all daily debits are posted to the system
· Process vendor payments on a timely manner and work closely with our accounts payable reconciling statements
· Review and approve all invoices prior to processing payment
· Upload and post payroll in a timely manner
· Provide support to management as requested
· Assemble information , upon request, to auditors/owners/investors
· Ensure all daily debits are posted to the system
· Work with all departments and property managers in providing financial request
This position addresses tight deadlines and an assortment of various task as needed by the supervisor. The candidate should be extremely organized, detail oriented and be able to multi-task different assignments while meeting weekly and monthly deadlines.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors’ Degree Preferred
· Proficient computer skills, Excel and Word
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proactive work ethic and attention to detail
· Must be upbeat, polite, courteous and tactful
· Superior Customer Service skills required
· Proven ability to operate selflessly as part of a dynamic team
· Proven ability to multi task
· Prior experience in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with Yardi/BJM, Excel, Outlook
· Ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced environment.
