    Location: Tolland, CT or Pomfret, CT

    Compensation: $125,000- $135,000 with a targeted bonus of 15-20% based on experience.

    We are looking for a Wealth Advisor who will take a ‘tailored’ approach to delivering the most memorable client experience while providing strategic advice for clients. As the Wealth Advisor, you will lead client meetings to understand each client’s individual goals and needs, help create and implement holistic financial plans to meet them and build lasting client relationships for an elevated client service experience. You will participate in every stage of the financial planning process – including initial fact-finding, creation and execution of holistic financial plans, and servicing of existing financial plans – and support existing client relationships in conjunction with senior advisors at both our Tolland and Pomfret offices.     We place the client at the center of delivering on our
    proprietary financial planning promise. Our team works collaboratively to help clients achieve their goals. As a member of our advisory team, you will be responsible for elevating and maintaining the client experience and delivering our strategic financial planning and investment processes. This role is tasked to build tailored relationships with community members, guide clients through their financial plan towards achieving their financial life goals, working collaboratively with team members and external professionals to drive client financial plan execution, remain compliant with all firm, RIA/broker-dealer, and FINRA requirements.

    As a Wealth Advisor, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Build tailored relationships with community members: You will build meaningful relationships with new and existing community members in the Tolland County and Pomfret (Windham County) market and beyond. This may include attending social events, business networking events and connecting with key Centers of Influence (COIs).
    • Guide client through their financial plan: As a dedicated team player you will have a key role in guiding the client through their financial plan and ensuring they execute on the plan. In addition, you will fully participate in and provide points of view as part of firm’s investment committee.
    • Work collaboratively with team members and external professionals to drive client plan execution: You will work with all firm team members to execute financial plans and partner with external professionals on legal and tax planning.
    • Compliance: As an Advisor you will comply with all firm, FINRA, SEC and RIA/broker-dealer policies and regulations; satisfy education requirements. Remain up to date on industry developments, service and product enhancements, regulatory issues, and client needs.

    Qualifications for this role include:

    • BA or BS in business; advanced degree/designation a plus (e.g., MBA, CFP®, CPA, etc.)
    • Prior certification or willingness to enroll in CFP® certification program
    • Life and Health Insurance licensing
    • FINRA Series 7, Series 66 and SIE required
    • 5+ plus years of industry experience and has worked directly with clients
    • Knowledge and communication of financial planning concepts and terminology with ability to expand and grow in this area
    • Proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft365, MoneyGuidePro™, Asana, CRM systems, Argus, Broadridge Forefield Advisor, Morningstar® Advisor Workstation
    • Demonstrated growth in current or past roles
    • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
