    Location: Great Barrington, MA; Full-time, in office

    Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 plus variable compensation based on assets managed, based on experience

    We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced Wealth Manager to join our practice. As a Wealth Manager, you will be responsible for the relationship management and financial planning for an existing book of business. You will partner with a Senior Wealth Manager to learn how we apply financial planning and client service principles while contributing your insights. You will be responsible for developing and retaining client relationships, maintaining and creating financial plans, managing portfolios, and managing general administrative affairs alongside Client Service Associates.

    Partnering with the Senior Wealth Manager will eventually enable you to take stewardship of his segment of our business. Coachability, dedication to putting clients’ interests first, and strong knowledge of core financial planning principles are essential.     As a Wealth Manager, you will be responsible for:

    • Participating in fact-finding meetings with clients to assess their financial situation and identify their unique goals and needs.
    • Utilizing widely used and specialized software to create and maintain goal-based client strategies that span financial planning, portfolio management, and tax analysis.
    • Recommending and maintaining plans to help clients achieve their financial goals; identifying appropriate portfolio allocation plans and investment vehicles; assessing insurance needs, retirement accounts, foundational estate documents, and more.
    • Developing presentations for clients to educate them regarding financial planning options and ongoing portfolio performance.
    • Ensuring completion (with support from staff Client Services Associates) of documentation and administrative tasks required of an RIA and coordinating these efforts with account custodians, compliance personnel, and other entities.
    • Complying with all applicable SEC , state and federal compliance regulations and any continuing education requirements.

    Qualifications for this opportunity include:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5 years of experience in the industry
    • 3+ years of experience in an advisory or associate advisory role
    • Series 65 or CFP, ChFC, CIC, PFS a plus
    • A basic knowledge of holistic financial planning concepts, including but not limited to money management, investment analysis, portfolio management, trust and estate planning, insurance recommendations, tax analysis, and legacy wealth strategies
    • Familiarity with Tamarac, MoneyGuide Pro, or Holistiplan is a plus
    • Strong technical and technological aptitude
    • Coachability and the humility to absorb the collective wisdom of our senior advisors
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Experience in a client-facing capacity in wealth management
    • A positive, collaborative attitude and professionalism under pressure

    • Aptitude for learning programs and software used in the delivery of wealth management services
