    The HR Generalist is a resource to all Associates and leaders regarding personnel policies and procedures in the areas of benefits, payroll, employee relations, training, and other transactions.

    As HR Generalist, your responsibilities will include :

     

    ·         Being a resource to all Associates for information regarding benefits, payroll, training, company events, and other People Department functions.

    ·         Being in direct contact with leaders regarding Associate disciplinary action, and implementing culture and policy changes.

    Recruiting

    30%

    ·         Liaison with Contract Labor Agencies

    ·         Recruiting and selecting GROW Associates (Level I Operators and Support)

    ·         Assign GROW Associates to Departments and Shifts as needed

    ·         Direction of Contract Labor On-site Resources

     

    Employee Relations

    10%

    ·         Associate disciplinary action – review write-ups and counsel leaders and Associates on issues

    ·         Conduct investigations as necessary in response to Associate issues/complaints

    ·         Administer applicable personnel policies and procedures

     

     

    Training and Conversion to Full-time Status

    50%

    ·         Coaching and retention of GROW Associates

    ·         Coordinate proficiency reviews at 30-, 60-, and 90-days

    Administrative

    10%

    ·         Administer the payables process for Contract Labor payroll 

    ·         Coordinate the administrative and A/P aspects of GROW conversions accomplished by other People

    Your abilities:

    Education –        High School diploma or GED / HSED

    BS/BA degree, preferred.

                                    PHR Certification, preferred.                      

    Experience –      Three or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources and payroll.

    Travel -                 20%; same-day to our Whitestown, IN facility.
