Black Hog BBQ in Downtown Frederick is hiring for a weekday evening Bartender. Tipped Wage + Annual Salary paid biweekly (Great Opportunity/Guaranteed Money plus Tips!!)

Must be available on the weekdays.

Server Duties and Responsibilities

Greet tables promptly

Answer questions about menu items

Accurately take customer orders

Facilitate filling drink orders with the bar

Gracefully suggest/upsell additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks

Offer prompt and excellent customer service

Memorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredients

Use the POS system to accurately calculate the patron’s bill and input food orders efficiently.

Complete side work and cleaning duties

Closeout all checks at the end of every shift

Bartender Duties and Responsibilities

Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar area and bar supplies. Must be fast and efficient behind a bar.

Server/Bartender Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

2+ years full-service bar experience preferred

Basic math skills

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Familiarity with restaurant POS software

Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment
