Job Overview:
As a Weekend Plumbing CSR/Dispatcher, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping to address inquiries, schedule appointments, and dispatch our skilled plumbing technicians. Your primary goal will be to provide excellent customer service while ensuring effective communication between customers and the plumbing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with a positive and professional attitude.
- Assist customers in identifying their plumbing issues and provide information about services available.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Efficiently schedule service appointments based on technician availability and customer urgency.
- Maintain the scheduling system accurately to avoid double bookings and manage technician workloads.
- Dispatching:
- Coordinate with plumbing technicians to ensure timely arrival at job sites.
- Monitor and adjust technician schedules as needed based on emergencies, cancellations, or delays.
- Record Keeping:
- Document customer interactions and service requests in the company’s database.
- Maintain records of appointments, services performed, and customer feedback.
- Problem-Solving:
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Provide assistance in emergency situations and prioritize urgent calls.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the plumbing team to optimize workflow and ensure a high level of service.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, or in the plumbing industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and scheduling software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position requiring availability on weekends. Specific hours may vary, with shifts typically scheduled from 8am to 6pm.
