Role Overview:
We are searching for a Weekend Childcare Teacher who is passionate about making Saturdays and Sundays exciting and enriching for children. You’ll provide engaging activities, loving supervision, and a well-structured environment that keeps kids safe, entertained, and learning.

What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Child development coursework or previous experience in a daycare, school, or childcare setting is a plus!
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
Skills & Traits:
Strong communication skills to connect with children, parents, and staff.
Energetic, fun, and creative—kids should be excited for their weekends with you!
Able to actively engage in physical play (bending, lifting, and moving with children).
Team player who is patient, reliable, and always puts the children first.
Your Responsibilities:
Plan & Lead Fun Activities
Organize interactive games, hands-on crafts, and creative learning experiences to keep children engaged.
Foster an environment where kids can express themselves, explore, and grow.
Supervise & Care for Children
Ensure each child feels safe, valued, and included.
Provide hands-on guidance to encourage positive social skills and independence.
Manage Snack & Meal Times
Assist with meal prep and ensure nutritious, well-balanced snacks and meals are served.
Encourage a positive mealtime experience, helping kids with table manners and conversation.
Encourage Positive Behavior
Implement gentle, effective behavior management techniques to promote respect and kindness.
Help children navigate social interactions and build friendships.
Communicate with Families
Provide parents with updates on their child’s weekend activities, achievements, and overall well-being.
Address concerns promptly and professionally to maintain strong parent relationships.
Enforce Safety & Cleanliness
Follow strict safety protocols, including check-in/check-out procedures and emergency responses.
Keep play areas, classrooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and ready for action.
Keep Accurate Records
Document children’s activities, behavior notes, and any incidents to ensure clear communication with staff and families.
