Weekend Position: Support Staff Professional
About Us: We are a close-knit family seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to assist our son, both in the comfort of our home and in the community. Our son is a vibrant young man who requires support with his daily activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and meal monitoring.
Responsibilities: As a Support Staff Professional, you will play a vital role in our son's life, ensuring he receives the care and attention he needs. Your responsibilities will include accompanying him during volunteer activities, engaging in outings in the community, and providing the essential support he requires. Safety is paramount, and you will work alongside another staff member in a 2:1 ratio while in the community.
What We're Looking For: We value individuals who are patient, calm, and dedicated to providing exceptional care. A willingness to learn and follow a Positive Behavior Plan is crucial, as our son may exhibit challenging behaviors. If you have experience in this regard, it's a significant advantage!
Shifts: minimum 5 hour shifts for Saturday and Sunday, hours are flexible. Possible Friday night shift. Willing to hire 2 people so working every other weekend is an option.
Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology (specialized degrees also accepted).
OR earned your RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification.
OR NADD certification

Competitive pay rate ranges from $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement for community activities.
