Hampton Inn Fishkill is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our hotel staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests by maintaining the physical condition of the property. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment while providing essential support to our operations.

This position is for Saturday and Sunday. 8-hour shift

Key Responsibilities:

1. Routine Maintenance : Perform daily inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the hotel's facilities and equipment.

2. Repair Work : Diagnose and address minor issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs when necessary.

3. Preventative Maintenance : Implement a preventive maintenance program to identify and address potential problems before they become major issues.

4. Guest Support : Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to room maintenance and facility issues, striving to ensure guest satisfaction.

5. Safety Compliance : Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by adhering to safety regulations and promptly addressing any safety concerns or hazards.

6. Inventory Management : Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment, replenishing as needed and reporting inventory levels to the management.

7. Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments, including housekeeping and front desk, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

8. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenditures to assist in budget planning.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
