Position: Pit Master Locations: Leon Springs
Position Overview: We are currently seeking intentional and meticulous individuals to join Rudy’s Country Store & Bar-B-Q in San Antonio. As a Pit Master, you will play an essential role in the final preparation of our BBQ. This position requires consistent and thorough completion of the Rudy’s tradition of BBQ. Learning our pit systems and staying true to our standards is vital for the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen eye for detail to guarantee that each cut of meat adheres to our stringent quality standards.
Time Management: Efficiently manage tasks and prioritize work to ensure timely preparation and serving of orders in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving: Quickly address unexpected challenges and make sound decisions under pressure to maintain the smooth flow of kitchen operations.
Food Safety: Adhere to food safety regulations and practices, ensuring the safety and hygiene of our kitchen environment.
Key Qualifications:
Routine building: from the beginning until now, our recipes and cooking procedures have not changed.
High-Volume Kitchen Experience: Previous experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment is essential.
Tenure: A strong work history with demonstrated tenure in previous cutter positions.
Problem-solving: The ability to think on their feet and solve problems quickly and effectively is important.
Positive Employment History: A positive employment track record with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
