    Job Description

    We are looking for diligent, reliable and communicative individuals to provide care for the Elderly. No NHA License required or extra certifications, simply pass a Background Check and complete the Onboarding process to join our team.

    We offer flexible shifts, with the potential for hours that fit your schedule whether you're studying or have a day job. We will work with you to see which of our Clients align best with your time. Our clients often require assistance with activities of daily living, but also require assistance staying connected with the outside world through social activities, appointments and errands; your role as a certified caregiver helps them to live life to their fullest.

    Our Care smart phone app keeps track of our client care plans, changes in ADL status and outcomes. This position allows for a full scope of interaction with the client in their home including assistance with their activities of daily living, maintaining their home environment, and keeping them engaged with the outside world.

    Responsibilities

    Ensure client safety and provide friendly companionship

    Assist with household duties including laundry, light cleaning, and meal preparation

    Drive clients as needed for shopping, appointments, and errands

    Support activities of daily living in a safe and helpful way

    Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and care team

    Help with personal care tasks like bathing and dressing

    Follow care plan to assist clients with personal care needs (CNA/PCP/HHA)

    Stay updated on caregiving skills by completing 12 hours of annual training through our Caregiver University

    Requirements

    Verification of any certifications held (if any)

    Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility

    Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks & Department of Motor Vehicle checks

    Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the care team

    Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
