    Job Description

    The Vice President of Title and Settlement Sales, Southern NJ and PA is responsible for managing the Company’s sales functions in order to achieve sales and profit goals within their prospective region. The position oversees and provides regular coaching, training, performance management and other guidance necessary to improve sales results based on the individual skills and needs of the Title Closing Advisors and Settlement Officers/Title Producers. The position also works with the leadership team to maintain a strong sales culture across the region and to positively impact change within the entire sales process. The Senior Vice President of Title and Settlement Sales will grow the company revenue from existing and new sources.

    The position supervises a team of Title Closing Advisors and Settlement Officers/Title Producers that prospect and sell title services to Sales Associates and external customers.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Fosters and nurtures a winning, sales focused culture and work environment.
    • Oversees individual pipelines and manages the daily activities of direct reports within their prospective region to achieve objectives.
    • Provides ongoing sales training to the team to include product, service, and selling skills.
    • Evaluates current settlement practices at the closing table then implements and trains Settlement Officers/Title Producers on best practices to enhance the client experience.
    • Supports business development and assists with client prospecting and closing efforts.
    • Provides onsite sales support to the team in the region, reviewing programs, ordering submissions, and developing personal sales and marketing plans for each team member.
    • Manages production levels and Company expectations to ensure each team member is adequately providing the coverage and support to the assigned Weichert sales office and attorneys. Monitors penetration and production of non-Weichert business through the Democracy Title brand.
    • Responsible to hit company goals for market share by office and territory along with achieving aggregate production goals to meet budget and financial goals.
    • Ensures the team is performing title activities in accordance with all State and Federal regulations.
    • Partners with the Regional Vice Presidents of Residential Sales and Sales Managers to ensure the team and the Sales Managers are supporting One Company opportunities.
    • Sets monthly and annual opportunity and sales goals for each team member and conducts regular performance management appraisals and manages progress toward meeting these goals.
    • Oversees the development and the delivery of training presentations and identifies applicable training for team members. Ensures training is provided and evaluates effectiveness.
    • Responsible for the recruitment of qualified candidates. Trains new employees on departmental procedures.
    • Manages employee performance, including annual salary reviews, vacation and sick time, and formal disciplinary actions as required.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Title producer’s license required
    • Valid driver’s license required

    EXPERIENCE

    • Ten (10) or more years of title or real estate sales experience required
    • Five (5) or more years of direct management experience of a title sales team strongly preferred
    • Captive real estate sales/management experience preferred
