    The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.

    Solve everyday production problems.

    • Continually makes process improvements.
    • Quote and job out fixture parts.
    • Set-up incoming machines and arranges machines for special test jobs.
    • Performs fixture adjustments on an as needed basis.
    • Administers cost estimating procedures.
    • Interprets quotations.
    • Issues design approval.
    • Performs installation and set-up for machines and molds.
    • Troubleshoots welding equipment.
    • Designs robot programming.
    • Creates fixture set-up and adjustment.

    Required Skills

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills :

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Mathematical Skills :

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply

    concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Business Judgment:

    Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner. Able to apply common sense understanding and use appropriate judgment in routine business situations with supervisor, co-workers and customers. Maintain a higher standard of professional conduct and ethics in more complex business situations such as negotiations with customers or presentations to management.


    Technical Skills:

    Ability to work with the following software packages or programs:

    · Microsoft Office at a(n) intermediate level

    · Microsoft Project at a(n) intermediate level

    · Effective email and electronic communication skills are required

    Ability to work with the following data base programs and/or hardware:

    · MQ1 database at a(n) intermediate level

    · QAD database at a(n) intermediate level

    Required Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
