    Job Description

    Product managers are a critical contributor for building great software products and growing effective product teams. Our product management and design team is continuing to grow with this newly created role. As a Product Manager, you have a passionate interest and exceptional capabilities in the envisioning, discovery, design, and development of engaging user experiences. You thrive in a work environment that requires excellent problem-solving skills and directional autonomy, coupled with exceptional team collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills. You individually focus on applying both creative and analytical approaches to any product challenge, leveraging both your team`s input and most importantly that of the user. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and innovative development environment embedded in a development team. An extensive understanding of contemporary user-centered design patterns and methodologies is a must. We believe product ownership is a team sport, and we only want people dedicated to delivering product in constant collaboration with UX and Engineering. We believe a product manager can make or break a product. QUALIFICATIONS

    • Passion for products, technology, business and user experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in product management, product design or software development
    • Experience working in an agile and/or lean development environment
    • A hustler mindset
    • Technical prowess - you dont have to be a coder, but you shouldnt be afraid of discussing technical issues
    • Leadership skills - ability to influence and inspire your team while steering your products in the best directions possible
    • Strong ability to build a product vision and communicate that vision to your team, peers, and stakeholders
    • Self-motivation and a strong desire to make an impact in K-12 education
    • Ability to travel up to 20% to meet with customers and/or key stakeholders, product teams in other Edgenuity locations
