Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Welder job in Erie, PA for our client, a manufacturer of quality commercial and government products. This is a direct hire job on either the first or the second shift. We are seeking candidates that have three (3) or more years of hands-on Welding experience in manufacturing, excellent math and measurement skills and ability to read blueprints. Candidates must have experience in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core. This is a 2nd shift position in a union environment. Our client offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $21 to $22.63 per hour based on experience and shift, with built in raises They also offer excellent benefits including profit sharing, low-cost and low-deductible health insurance and 401K contributions.

Qualifications:

• Three (3) or more years of hands-on experience welding in all positions in a manufacturing environment, ASME Certified preferred.
• Strong Math and Measurement skills
• Must be able to read Blueprints
• Must pass pre-employment physicals and screenings.
