  • Responsibilities

    We are always seeking skilled welders As a welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Know how to weld!
    • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and welding.
    • Select and set up welding equipment, tools, and supplies according to job requirements.
    • Perform various types of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-acetylene welding.
    • Inspect workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications, using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
    • Maintain and repair all equipment used in welding to ensure proper functionality.
    • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other stakeholders to complete projects efficiently.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
    • Certification in welding techniques (e.g., AWS welding certification) is desirable.
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
    • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
    • Commitment to safety standards and practices.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Vocational or technical training in welding or a related field.
    • Knowledge of metallurgy and welding principles.
    • Familiarity with welding-specific software and computer-aided design (CAD) software.

    CONDITIONS

    • This position typically involves working in a manufacturing or construction environment.
    • May require working at heights or in confined spaces.
    • Possible travel to job sites may be required.
