    • The Welding Manager will embody an energetic and action-oriented leadership style, demonstrating a commitment to coordinating and managing a team of welders in the fabrication of frames and equipment within established timelines and budgetary constraints, all while prioritizing customer satisfaction. The Welding Manager will proactively take charge to ensure that design specifications and quality standards are consistently met.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of welders to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
    • Develop and implement welding procedures and techniques to optimize productivity and efficiency while maintaining product quality.
    • Conduct inspections to ensure that welds meet or exceed industry standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements.
    • Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Train and educate staff on safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
    • Plan and coordinate welding projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions with upper management and clients.
    • Provide training to welders and technicians on new equipment, techniques, and safety standards. Promote continuous improvement in welding skills and practices.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of proven experience as a Welding Manager, Welding Supervisor, or similar leadership role
    • In-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and industry standards; Expert in MIG welding; Competent in TIG welding
    • Strong understanding of welding quality control, blueprint reading, and welding inspection methods
    • Experience in fabrication and assembly of large frames
    • Competent in reading and utilizing machine and assembly drawings/models to weld frames and equipment
    • Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and safety equipment
    • Certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) are preferred

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 35.00 - 40.00/hour range, with UNCAPPED overtime
