JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $19 - $22 per hour (depend on the experience)

Day Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain the needs and organization of the welding department or assigned work area
• Identifies damaged material
• Documents inbound and outbound transactions
• Correctly organizes products and materials
• Housekeeping in the department (sweeping, cleaning, straightening)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form a must
• Experience using hand tools
• Ability to Read and Write in the English language
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work safely and collaboratively within a team environment
• Must wear steel toed safety shoes ,approved eye protection, gloves, arm guards
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Able to work in a hot environment
• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
• Overhead crane experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
