    Currently we are seeking a Welding Supervisor to be responsible for the specific daily operations of certain lines within the Welding Department. This person will hold team members accountable for efficiency, quality, safety and compliance with the company policy. This person will report to the Welding Manager.

    Your Role in Our Mission:

    Supervise and coordinate the activities of the assigned weld lines.

    Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

    Conduct performance evaluations and address any personnel issues.

    Manage daily activities of the department to meet production demands in both quantity and quality.

    Communicate effectively with leads and other team members to direct personnel.

    Communicate with other departments to assure proper materials and equipment are provided for the team members.

    Ensure adherence to safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Identify opportunities to improve productivity and assist with implementation of changes.

    Be a role model for the department by practicing employee engagement while having a respectful and positive attitude.

    Ensure all work performed meets company standards and complies with safety requirements.

    To Perform this Job Successfully:

    Five years of related experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

    Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.

    Knowledge of welding processes and equipment.

    Ability to plan and implement changes.

    Math skills including good understanding of fractions and angles

    Ability to read blueprint drawings and cut lists.

    Experience and ability to utilize an ERP system.

    Computer skills including ability to use and create word documents and spread sheets.

    Preferred training and certification in forklift and overhead crane operation.
