    Hours: Average of 40 hours per week, on-site
    Shifts: Monday-Friday 1st shift; coverage between hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm
    Hourly Rate: $30 - $37
    *wage negotiable based on credentials and experience

    Position Overview:

    Atlas Injury Prevention in partnership with Briotix Health is seeking a full-time Wellness Specialist. A day in the life of a Wellness Specialist will include using your knowledge and our training to oversee the daily operations of fitness center(s) while assisting with the individual health and fitness goals of employees. Our primary goal is to develop strong relationships and assist in the overall well-being of the working athletes we serve.

    This position will maintain a demonstrated understanding of all Briotix Health service lines and continue to advance their professional abilities to meet the needs of their assigned region. Regular communication and collaboration with Team Operations, Client Management, and the Client Ergonomic departments will be crucial to the success of the position and assigned region. Additional mentorship assignments may be required for this position to advance the success of future team members and business growth.

    Job Duties:

    • Provide on-site services at 1 location in Everett, WA
    • Create and maintain positive relationships
    • Oversee daily operations of fitness center(s) while assisting with the individual health and fitness goals of employees
    • Develop and implement group fitness class schedules, personal training programs, wellness programs and provide 1:1 wellness coaching
    • Assist with other specific projects including dietary/nutrition wellness, injury prevention events, ergonomics programing, new hire orientation and wellness committee meetings
    • Design, implement, coordinate and evaluate physical activity challenges and events to promote member engagement and retention
    • Based on client requirements, you may provide Functional Employment Testing, Job Demands Analysis, Return to Work/Stay at Work Services, Ergonomic Assessments and/or Clinical Solutions
    • Be the Subject Matter Expert and deliver customized Education & Training presentations
    • Accurate and timely electronic documentation and support of client-specific reports
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Education in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Health Promotion, Health Science, Nutrition, or related field
    • NSCA CSCS, CES, ACSM Fitness Instructor, and/or Wellness Coach Certification strongly preferred
    • Appropriate certifications and/or state licenses in good standing required
    • Current CPR & First Aid certification
    • Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care
    • Must meet the physical demands of on-site work needs; ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, sitting, and or squatting

    • 1-2 years of industrial / occupational wellness coaching experience preferred but not required
