    Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

    The Quality Assurance Analyst 2 position will perform Quality Assurance reviews on Commercial loans for FDPA and Flood Insurance requirements.

    This position will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, assessing and/or reviewing programs, processes, claims, documentation and/or files to ensure compliance with internal company requirements and/or agency or government regulations. Functions may include evaluating processes to ensure business standards are followed; providing guidance to lenders and other staff regarding documentation requirements; or evaluating in-process, closed, canceled and declined credit applications, insurance claims, accounts, files, systems and/or processes to ensure company standards are met. Ensures corrective action on exceptions and problems identified, required data is input and proper procedures were followed. Ensures identified risks and/or problems are clearly documented and interacts with appropriate parties for timely resolution. Performs ongoing reviews and generates reports summarizing results. Identifies risks and problem areas and recommends standards, policies, and procedures to correct deficiencies and improve performance. May design and conduct training programs.

    Please Note: Position is currently remote; however, employee will be required to work on site at 600 South 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN when Wells Fargo returns to standard operating model.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: quality assurance, financial services administration, loan documentation, loan servicing, underwriting or risk evaluation demonstrated through work or military experience; or a BS/BA degree or higher

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Commercial loan experience
    • Ability to review and interpret complex commercial loan documents
    • Knowledge and understanding of loan documentation
    • Military experience in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting
    • Experience working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting, and assistance with keeping military personnel combat-ready and effective
    • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory flood compliance
    • Flood insurance experience
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA)
    • Knowledge and understanding of Private flood insurance policies
    • Knowledge and understanding of National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) insurance policies

    OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge and understanding of collateral and appraisals
