Wellward Regenerative Medicine is seeking the perfect candidate for our Physical Therapy Technician position!
Wellward Medical is a Lexington, KY based Integrative Health Clinic which offers Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Pain, Mental Health, Functional & Lifestyle Medicine. We focus on methods ranging from non-surgical orthopedics and sports medicine practices to medically supervised weight loss programs, with additional services extending into Anti-Aging and Sexual Health.
Physical Therapy Technician Job Responsibilities:
Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
Interviews patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight and height; documents in EMR, insurance forms and super bills.
Cleans and sterilizes instruments and disposes of contaminated supplies.
May be asked to assist or independently conduct group exercise classes.
Must know basics of resistance exercise and be willing to learn more in depth concepts in the realm of strength and conditioning.
Explains treatment procedures, medications, diets, Physicians' instructions and supplement recommendations to patients.
Assists doctors including labs, imaging, bracing, taping, strapping, fitting, removing sutures, changing dressing on wounds and other related tasks.
Contacts medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests, referral or admission.
Performs laundry, cleaning, sterilization, organization, and other housekeeping duties.
Communicates when supplies are low to ensure proper inventory.
Answers inquiries and educates.
Completes work ability reports, disability forms and attending physician statements.
Continues education and personal growth
Attends team meetings and health fairs to promote the company as needed.
Prepare daily patient charts timely and accurately.
Assists explanation to patients via provider treatment plans, assists gathering supplements and escorts patient to Front Desk.
Triage calls effectively and with empathy.

Job Type: Full-time - Monday through Friday 8:45am-5:15pm (occasional overtime)
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
