    Job Description

    As a DUI Program Evaluator, you will conduct DUI program substance abuse evaluations to determine if a treatment referral is indicated,  as per DHSMV guidelines.  You will also provide Case Management services to clients on long term revocation of their driver’s license.  Training is provided.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services  is required. In addition, you are required to have  2 years’ experience in direct client services. This  must be in the field of mental health, substance abuse, rehabilitation, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Human services can substitute for 1 year of the required experience. If your Bachelor’s degree in not in Human Services you must have 7 yrs experience in the field or be a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP)  or  a Certified Criminal Justice Addiction Professional (CCJAP) .

    You must have a valid FL driver’s license and be willing to submit to pre-employment drug testing and background screening. Because we abide by Federal Drug Free Workplace rules we cannot accept applicants who hold a Medical Marijuana card.  You will need to possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently. Lastly, you must be detail oriented and will be required to complete documentation in a timely manner as required by the agency.

    This is a part time position with no benefits.  You will work a total of three days per week Monday through Thursday (days are flexible).  In addition you will be required to work one Friday per month in Ocala (mileage will be reimbursed) .  Starting pay is $17 per hour.

    COVID-19 considerations: To keep our evaluators as safe as possible, each evaluator office has a plastic barrier between the evaluator and client.  Clients are required to wear masks.  Employees have access to masks, face shields, gloves, hand sanitizer, etc.
