Job Description

West Coast Trial Lawyers, a downtown Los Angeles law firm, seeks a pre-litigation professional with personal injury experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a legal assistant, paralegal, or case manager performing the following tasks:

• Conducting intakes

• Sending letters of representation

• Opening insurance claims

• Confirming coverages

• Requesting police reports

• Clearing liability

• Preparing DMV forms

• Negotiating property damage claims

• Coordinating medical treatment

• Preparing demand letters

• Interacting with adjusters and defense counsel

• Negotiating bodily injury claims

• Performing lien negotiations

• Case management

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience handling personal injury matters

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

• Well organized and detail-oriented

• Reliable and punctual

• Excellent customer service skills. You will be talking to clients on a daily basis.

PREFERENCES

• Bilingual English/Spanish

• Knowledge of Abacus Law software
