Since opening in 1914, West Suburban Medical Center has served as a community hospital for the West Side of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. We have a passion to heal and make a difference in our community. The West Suburban Family Medicine Residency was first accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in 1971. The Program became dually accredited by the American Osteopathic Association in 2005 and subsequently achieved ACGME Osteopathic Recognition in 2019. We accept ten first year residents each year. PCC Community Wellness Center hosts our four clinical sites: one inside West Suburban Medical Center, one located in Oak Park, and two located in Chicago. The PCC sites are approved Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
