Responsibilities: • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community Qualifications: • High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus • Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole • Must be a good communicator and be able to explain complex insurance programs to the customer Compensation: $66,000 at plan commission
